    Verdict

Pititana gets the vote over Hang Loose, with Loch Verdi, Cheney Hill and Elusive Warrior others to consider. Pititana has shaped well on all three outings to date, and the feeling is that she will be suited by thisdrop back in trip after trying to force the pace at Newmarket last time. She will probably be one to follow when going handicapping, but can make fitness and experience tell here. Loch Verdi improved markedly to get within a head of Ten Downing Street at Bath last October, and with Andrew Balding's string in good form, this half-sister to Lochridge can also go close on her return. Cheney Hill was not beaten that far behind Bling at Salisbury last August and you can be sure that Henry Candy will find an opening for him this term. Elusive Warrior has plenty of experience but has been hard to place so far and is best watched again, with preference for Pititana.
