Verdict

Galaxy Rock has fallen foul of the handicapper over hurdles so it's no surprise to see connections putting him over fences now. He should win races if taking to the larger obstacles while Cannington Brook showed promise on his chasing debut at Cheltenham before finding the company too hot on a return visit there last month. Laborec fell on his only previous start over fences but has been in decent form over hurdles recently and is worth another try but it will be a surprise if PEVERIL is beaten here. Nicky Henderson's charge won three out of four over normal hurdles and, considering his lack of a recent action, ran well for a long way when third over brush hurdles at Haydock on his reappearance - his size suggests he should be a natural over fences.
