Verdict

GROVEMERE looks to be the one to beat in this having gone down with all guns blazing in a stronger contest at Worcester last time when Lost Glory was behind. Debra Hamer's six-year-old is still unexposed over the larger obstacles and has already won around here over timber. Stormyislandahead should strip fitter for his run here in June but is an infrequent winner and House Of Bourbon gets little respite from the handicapper, despite having finished well beaten in all recent starts. Gem Mill is consistent but another struggling to make an impact off his current mark.
