In depth

Verdict

Those with form under National Hunt Rules in this are a decidedly modest bunch so it would be no surprise if the winner came from one of the four hurdling newcomers. ROSIE PROBERT was placed in maidens at Salisbury and Chepstow last year for Roger Charlton and is now with Nicky Henderson. She lacks a recent run but may still be good enough as Shelford, a winner at Leopardstown over 1m4f last year for John Oxx, has done little since on the Flat. Odin has won three times up to 1m2f on the level and can't be ignored.
