Verdict

LE MAITRE CHAT (NAP) rallied bravely to get the better of the 84-rated Dolce N Karama over course and distance last month. The pair were well clear and Clive Cox's gelding can make a winning start in handicaps getting weight from Bath and Windsor winner Solidarity and Special Fighter, who may be feeling the effects of a busy season. Saoi was just touched off in a blanket finish at Nottingham last time but lacks the scope of the selection.
