In depth

Verdict

CELTIC RANSOM deserves to pick up a race and has leading claims in the finale where Catchanova and Scottish Boogie are amongst the dangers. Diamondgeezer Luke has shown a glimmer of ability since arriving from Ireland but not enough to get the vote whilst more needs to be seen from Princess Seren and Truly Magic. Catchanova was in front of the last named when no match for an easy winner at Salisbury but had the others well held behind and should be in the thick of the action. Scottish Boogie has dropped back to a workable mark and he showed signs of being on the way back when posting a better performance at Newbury in a better race than this so he rates highly but preference is for the John Hills trained Celtic Ransom. He's been knocking on the door all season and should benefit from being dropped back in trip following a run over ten at Leicester in a fair race where he didn't appear to see out the trip and he can gain a deserved success.
