Verdict

Diamond Vine was second to Showboating at Leicester on Sunday but gives the impression he'll be suited by a step up in distance. HIGHLAND COLORI was fifth in a different race over the same track and trip on the same day but that was against much better opposition and Tom Dascombe's lightly-raced gelding, an easy winner at Southwell previously, gets the nod turned out again quickly here. Yellow Dandy and Zalano could go close on their best form but Captain Dimitrios was well beaten in a seller on his latest start and must be worth opposing.
