Avon River won the last time he raced in this grade but is too inconsistent to have any faith in, while Uphold should have done better when failing to land the odds in similar company last month. CAMEROONEY has had no respite from the handicapper since winning at Newcastle last June which is probably why he's dropped in class and the move could pay off. He wasn't disgraced in a decent handicap at Ripon last time and could take the catching if allowed an easy lead. The remainder look up against it on today's terms with recent Newcastle winner Fremen making most appeal.
