In depth

Verdict

PINDAR, successful at Worcester in August and third in a similar race to this at Newton Abbot last month, still looks fairly treated and can make the most of the 14lb he receives from Louis Ludwig, who was placed a couple of times over fences in the summer. Neil Mulholland's charge has the beating of Nebula Storm on the form book. Persian Herald is a long-standing maiden over hurdles and fences and likely to find a couple too good again but Giant Hercules may improve a little in blinkers.
