Verdict

Snowell was left clear when Vertueux ducked out at the last at Leicester 11 days ago but he would have probably won anyway. He'll make a bold bid to defy a 6lb higher mark as James Banks again takes off 3lb and Emma Baker's yard has a good strike rate around here. But the top weight finished behind HOME FOR TEA at Fontwell last month and is a couple of pounds worse off. The latter should come out on top again today on that evidence. Six One Away needs more and Midnight Chorister was modest over hurdles but Point Of Attack may do better now switched to fences as he's already placed in point-to-points.
