In depth

Verdict

Jack Bene won over a shorter trip here in February and ran well for third in an amateur riders' race over 3m2f at Wincanton at the start of the month. But he would have preferred a softer surface and MOROMAN has been in great form between the flags lately. He has a progressive profile and can make a winning debut under Rules. Otto The Great won twice over hurdles for Nicky Henderson but has been struggling to get his head in front in point-to-points and looks vulnerable again here. Benheir has shown little since leaving Rebecca Curtis' stable in the autumn.
