    Verdict

Alan King's BORMO deserves to win a race having found just one too good in each of his last two starts and having not been out of the first three home in six of his last seven starts and he gets the vote to gain a well deserved first ever success with the main dangers rated as Cool Roxy and Pairc Na Gcapall. Neil King's gelding got no further than the first fence here last time and probably needs a confidence boosting round before he can be backed with any confidence, although he is sure to have been well schooled. Leopold won well here in April last year but is still suffering at the hands of the handicapper for that success, while Nick Gifford's Royal Wedding has disappointed over fences since winning at Kempton in April. Alan Blackmore's Cool Roxy is more than capable of taking a hand in the finish and does have a good record here but he has not been at his best in recent starts and preference is for Bormo, who can gain a well deserved first success.
