In depth

Verdict

Tullintain, three times a winner between the flags, was gaining his first success in a handicap over fences when comfortably beating Sang Bleu at Punchestown. A 9lb rise looks a little harsh but he should still take care of fourth-placed The Sneezer. BARNEYS HONOUR loves this track and is taken to gain his third victory in a year here. His latest runs have been over timber but he's been going very well and looks ready to score again. Wicklow Lad had Code Of The West 10 lengths behind when they occupied the places in the race won by Rakamasi at Naas and, despite the revised weights, should confirm the form. Romanesco landed a beginners' chase here in November but made a very bad mistake on a return visit a month later which put paid to his chances.
