Verdict

Having twice beaten the top-class hunter Salsify in December, TAMMYS HILL was only caught close home by that rival at Leopardstown a fortnight ago so should get back on the winning trail. Battlefront is the obvious main threat as he's won no less than ten times between the flags including his last nine and is virtually unbeatable in that sphere. In receipt of weight he'll ensure the selection doesn't have everything his own way in what should prove a cracking dual between the pair. Warne was a long way behind Salsify at Leopardstown but had easily landed two point-to-points previously and there's a line of form suggesting there's little between he and Battlefront. Solstice Knight and Montana Slim were also well beaten in that latter event but the latter didn't appear to show his best and can do better.
