Verdict

Enda Bolger complicates matters here by saddling Zest For Life, never the safest of jumpers but very useful in this sphere as shown when beating Wedger Paddy at the Punchestown Festival last year. Nina Carberry was on board that day but now takes the ride on the youngster No Notions, the easy winner of a Tralee point last month. Boxer George has returned in good form and ran well enough behind the veteran Whyso Mayo at Thurles to point to his chances while Good Egg is generally thereabouts in this company and was having his first start since May when third to On The Fringe at Leopardstown earlier this month. SALSIFY was having his first run in a hunter chase when easily beating Island Peak at Clonmel and, though this is much tougher, he looks the type to do very well in this sphere.
