Verdict

Victrix Gale looks well treated on her best form but is running so poorly that she's best watched for now. Jacks Island is consistent enough but continues to look high in the weights as does Tailors Hill and Sanmare looks as though she needs further. Western Bound won twice at Perth last spring and it would be no great surprise to see a revival and Tidal King was showing his first sign of ability in a maiden at Down Royal last month and makes his handicap debut from a lowly mark. FIERY OSCAR was winning for only the second time in 29 career starts at Thurles two weeks ago but did it well and though 6lb higher he looks capable of completing a quick double.
