Verdict

DACTIK has been doing everything right and it will take a good effort to prevent him completing a hat-trick of victories over the C&D despite a 9lb rise since comfortably beating Underthefloorboards last month. Tillargon was 12l behind in the first of those course victories and though producing a much better run here last time he appears unlikely to reverse the form. Knockmehill Lady ended the last campaign with a double here and at Clonmel and will have needed her comeback two weeks ago. She has plenty of scope and the longer trip shouldn't pose a problem nor will it for Jack Absolute, who is better known as a chaser but can race over timber from a 28lb lower mark so must be considered. Dunroe Boy is better handicapped over the bigger obstacles and probably needs further.
