In depth

Verdict

Nicky Henderson's Nadiya De La Vega won this a year ago but hasn't been in anything like that kind of form subsequently. Her stablemate Une Artiste travelled to Thurles for a similar race in January with what looked a favourite's chance but she was beaten a neck by Byerley Babe with Caoimhe's Delight and Kates Benefit not far behind. The winner is 5lb worse off and was beaten by AVONDHU LADY at Naas subsequently. The latter has had a recent run over hurdles to put her straight and could be good enough in a tight race. Tarla started odds-on for that Naas event but was beaten 10l and has since been beaten the same distance over hurdles at Cork.
