Verdict

KLINNSMAN attracted support on his debut at Punchestown and his supporters were almost celebrating. Although never in the hunt, he stayed on strongly behind Lieutenant Colonel and was only a head behind at the finish. He should go one better though Zigger Zagger, who was left behind when Royal Caviar quickened the pace here last month, stayed on steadily and that would have done him the world of good. Tom's Article will come on for his run at Clonmel while Kate Appleby Shoes is certain to attract attention and is an obvious danger.
