Verdict

DARWIN came from the USA with a big reputation which was enhanced by his victories in two Group 3 contests but he has disappointed subsequently though he showed enough pace in the Diamond Jubilee at Ascot to take care of these. Russian Soul found his form in the middle of last summer and continued to blaze a trail. He landed a Group 3 at Meydan in February when conceding 2lb to Jamesie who has a chance to turn the tables on the revised terms. Dandy Boy hasn't won since landing the Wokingham back in 2012 but the selection's stablemate Sparrow is interesting as three-year-olds have a good record in the race.
