All eyes here will be on SIR DES CHAMPS as he makes his debut over fences. Unbeaten in three runs over timber, his latest victory was in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham in March and he's bred to be even better over fences. Mackeys Forge was a very useful novice over hurdles but he hasn't done so well in two starts over fences and winning point-to-pointer Niki Royal may prove a bigger threat with her allowance as she ran quite well behind Golden Sunbird at Limerick but the remainder will need to improve on what they have shown so far to get involved.
