Verdict

Roll The Dice is back on the same mark as when runner-up in a better race here in November, though that was on heavy ground. Royal Native was in good form over hurdles in the autumn but hasn't shown much aptitude for chasing in his last two starts. Mighty Mobb has also been making too many mistakes though would have a chance on his close second at Warwick in February where he jumped round with few problems. ON TREND scored over the course and distance just over a year ago and though well beaten subsequently he's been competing at a higher level and this looks his chance to return to winning ways. Tokyo Javilex was in superb form at this time a year ago when completing a hat-trick. He's run poorly in his recent starts but will have found the ground much too testing. Coolking ran his best race since arriving from Ireland here earlier this month though that was over much further on heavy going.
