In depth

Verdict

Master d'Or, Hattington and Versus look the three to concentrate on in this handicap hurdle and the vote is given to Master d¿Or. The selection was a good second behind Kadam last time out he is proven in the conditions and off the same mark here and with the longer trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Hattington rates the main danger as he was a fair sixth behind Hopbine last time out and is another that will be suited by this longer trip. Versus weakened quickly three out when well beaten behind General Gossip last time and should be suited by this shorter trip but that form has since been let down so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Haydens Field looked held when falling behind Nicks Choice last time and looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder General Duroc has dropped to a handy mark and ran as if about to hit form when fourth behind Rift Valley last time out but that was on much faster ground so he is passed over on this occasion and for the winner we return to Master d'Or.
