Verdict

Freddy's Star won this a year ago after which the handicapper raised him 10lb. He's hardly picked his feet up since but is now on a 1lb lower mark and, reunited with Danny Burton, he shouldn't be dismissed. Conor O'Farrell has been making a name for himself with victories at Cheltenham and in the Midlands National and he's been a regular partner of Laustra Bad. David Pipe's charge hasn't won for four years but has dropped to such a lowly mark that he looks certain to make a bold bid here. J'ADHERE has alternated between hurdles and fences recently and produced his best run over the smaller obstacles at Doncaster last time when chasing home Coeur De Feu, form which can give him the edge here. The youngster King's Realm should be finding a small race soon as should another of the same age group Call To Arms, who makes his handicap debut from a fair mark.
