Verdict

Navanman has already been placed in a point-to-point and a bumper and should have a future over hurdles. The Nephew's defeat of Violet's Boy over fences at Fontwell has been franked and he's preferred to another chaser, Ringa Bay, and Filatore. Fred Le Macon might appreciate the step up in trip and is preferred to stablemate The Tourard Man on this occasion but HOWLONGISAFOOT should prove hard to beat. Paul Nicholls has two in this but daughter Megan appears to have the plum ride, her mount finally getting off the mark at Newton Abbot in April having gone close several times previously in decent company.
