Verdict

ROYAL COLLONGES was a big disappointment last season but he could well have needed the time to strengthen up and with Paul Nicholls amongst the winners already, we are prepared to back him today. The yard also introduces Garton King under rules, and this close relation to Toby Jug, is one to note in the market. Easement had shaped with a degree of promise in bumpers so it was a surprise to see him sent off at 66/1 in a selling hurdle. The visor seemed to bring about a revitalised effort. Doctor Foxtrot has yet to hit the target though did run well in a bumper at the course. Kauto The Roc looks very much the poor relation to his near sibling, Kauto Star. Mtpockets had been kept busy in point to points last winter and her rules debut at Fontwell suggests that the step up in trip will be very much to her liking.
