Verdict

Floradorado is bound to be popular with backers being trained by Paul Nicholls and has every chance on the form shown when chasing home Quaddick Lake at Taunton two starts ago but he disappointed at Plumpton last time and a safer option looks to be the consistent PADDYS HONOUR, who is preferred to Miss Merenda. The last mentioned was beaten a long way out at Fontwell last time but had run well at the same venue the time before and on that showing he has every chance. Tanktastic has run creditably in his last two starts but faces no easy task from 3lbs out of the weights proper, while at the other end of the handicap Charlottes Webb may struggle to give weight away all round. Patrixbourne has run well enough in two starts in handicaps to be given a chance here but it is Paddys Honour that gets the vote. The six-year-old has shown improved form since being sent handicapping by Philip Hobbs and he looks worth siding with here having been dropped 2lbs since his most recent start.
