Rayvin Black has to give 7lb to his rivals after a break but he has won one of his four hurdle starts and finished second in the other three so, if fully wound-up, there's no reason why he won't go close again. Vendredi Trois has hinted at ability in bumpers and may do better now tackling hurdles while Mr Trilby has won a point-to-point, though his form under Rules so far has been poor. FROZEN OVER has won four times on the Flat, including over 1m2f at Newmarket in May. He has been in good form this year and could be good enough to make a winning start to his hurdles career.
