Verdict

Royal Player and Algernon Pazham were both engaged at Warwick yesterday but would have a decent chance if lining up here. The latter is probably the form pick on his defeat of Silsol at Leicester in December, though the runner-up has been beaten twice since and Paul Nicholls should know where he stands with DORMELLO MO. The four-year-old caused a bit of a surprise at Strasbourg in October but obviously showed enough for new connections to buy him out of Waldemar Himmel's yard and he won't fail through lack of fitness. Arthur's Oak is the type to improve with experience and Unowhatimeanharry has ability but still tends to pull a little too hard.
