In depth

Verdict

LITTLE SHILLING has picked up about ¿15,000 by winning his last five starts and turned out quickly again under a penalty he is fancied to add to it. A terrific training performance by Tim Vaughan, who picked up the horse for less than 5000 guineas. The horse is not the biggest but he jumped really well when successful at Plumpton on Wednesday and can win this before a break. Willy The Slip also comes here in good form; he was a winner at Lingfield on just his second run over fences. He handles this ground and should continue to improve. Stablemate Laudamus had some fair place form last season, Rosie All Over was successful last time out at Kelso and is not be underestimated, whilst Oncle Kid is one to watch out for market support. A tougher race, but Little Shilling is fancied to win again.
