Verdict

Having won twice over 2m on heavy ground, you would imagine Alder Mairi would have no problem with the extra. However, she's been well beaten on the two occasions she's tackled further and could be vulnerable again here under a double penalty. FAIREY DELTA ran in snatches on her hurdling debut at Huntingdon but her cause wasn't helped by being badly hampered at an early stage. She has the scope to prove much better and, at the likely odds, could be value option in this opener as Wishes And Stars, though often quite highly tried, doesn't really appear to be improving. The ex-Irish Kim Tian Road has some ability but has been off the track for more than two years.
