Verdict

SWINCOMBE FLAME was very confidently ridden when favourite over a longer trip on her hurdling debut but couldn't match the finishing pace of winner Dream Function. The third has franked the form since, however, and Nick Williams' mare should go one better today. Strongly Suggested looks the danger on his third to Distime at Bangor, though Romeo Americo's cause wasn't helped by a first-flight blunder at Plumpton. Gunna Sound made late headway on his racecourse debut at Fontwell and could be the pick of the remainder.
