Verdict

RIVERBOAT SPRINGS has been very highly tried since making a winning debut at Bath in May but he was second in the Listed Woodcote Stakes over 6f here in June and this looks his best chance since. He can end the winning run of Day Of Conquest, who faces his stiffest task to date, and get the better of Newbury third Speedy Approach who does look ready for the step up to a mile however. Lone Warrior looks safely held on the form book while this may be too tough for Haydock maiden winner Top Of The Glas but Scotland caught the eye at Sandown and will know more today.
