Verdict

Langley Vale won a maiden handicap at Brighton earlier this month and this track is similar in nature. But the one to beat is probably LUNAR DEITY, who may have been flattered by his fourth in a Listed race here in June but has been taking on stronger opposition than this without being disgraced and is fairly treated. Pettochside has been kept to 5f so far this year but did win over this trip as a juvenile while Ghost Train was knocking on the door last month, though appears to have gone off the boil a little lately.
