Verdict

Last Minute Lisa continues to perform with great credit and her exaggerated waiting tactics may well pay off once more. However, it may just be that she's slightly better at a shorter trip and SANDY COVE is preferred in receipt of 11lb plus his competent apprentice's allowance. The Eustace gelding looked all over the winner at Brighton the last day on his first try over 1m4f only to be swooped upon in the dying strides by Chesil Beach and it would not surprise if Ryan Tate opts to delay his challenge a little longer this time around. Corn Maiden is consistent but is best at her beloved Yarmouth, whilst it's always worth noting any three-year-old Mark Johnston pitches in against the older brigade, which brings Power Up into the equation.
