Verdict

A competitive renewal for the gentleman amateur riders' big day out with BARWICK the choice in an open contest. There are no stamina issues surrounding the Lady Herries inmate, who still looks on an acceptable mark and a recent Brighton win suggests he'll be okay at this venue too. Nave is another who likes it round here and continues to perform consistently well whilst Hyperlink was always in control for today's pilot when landing a lesser contest of this type last time at Catterick and is one to note, as is Jakey, two from three around here for his local yard. Sky Khan is another who brings consistent credentials to the table but may just be more effective at a shorter trip, whilst Echo Brava keeps threatening to notch a handicap or two and shouldn't be ruled out.
