Verdict

All five boast decent claims in a tight little heat but VOLCANIC DUST has plenty of early pace and is one of two contenders to have scored over the trip. She fully deserved her success last time and the consistent filly should not be inconvenienced by a 4lb rise for that recent battling victory. She can use her early pace to effect over this lightning fast five and gets the nod over Diamond Charlie, who appeared to appreciate the drop to the minimum trip last time when runner-up at Windsor. Paradise Place continues to give a good account but Shostakovitch does look to have something to find on the book and Cocohatchee may find this too sharp having been predominantly campaigned over seven furlongs in recent outings.
