This trip should be ideal for KEEPTHEBOATAFLOAT, who looks likely to take full advantage of the weights, while Ahlawy and Kaleo are respected. The selection has been dropped 4lbs since a thrashing at Catterick when last seen in April, but his mark of 86 still leaves him with plenty in hand. This trip will be much more suitable than the 1m 4f last time and he should be good enough. Ahlawy went very well in defeat in a similar contest last time, also over this trip, though he has a stone to find with the selection at these weights and that is a sizeable problem. Kaleo went well enough in a conditions contest a couple of starts ago but is another with an onerous task with the way this race is framed. Southwell specialist Boundless Prospect has just his second start at this famed track in 92 career outings. The last attempt proved abortive and you'd be hard pressed to say he will win tonight, so we'll stick with Keeptheboatafloat.
