Verdict

Uncomplicated won at Yarmouth yesterday so is ineligible for this maiden. Cappadocia has claims on his second over this trip at Ayr on his penultimate outing while Carlton Blue has shown a decent level of form and his Leicester second came on ground with some give, though he was never really travelling when a beaten favourite at Windsor 12 days ago. HIPSTER was also sent off market leader, at Salisbury, on his latest start but was collared right on the line by outsider Pasaka Boy, who was receiving 7lb. He'd finished behind Carlton Blue at Leicester earlier but the latter had the benefit of previous experience that day and Ralph Beckett's gelding can reverse the form and take this.
