Verdict

Jump Jockeys take over here and Sam Thomas can win this race again by partnering EPSOM SALTS to victory. Admittedly the horse was in better nick when successful twelve months ago, however the feeling is that he is now handicapped to win again off 76 and returning from a break. Rosco Flyer is in good form and the longer trip shouldn't worry, Mohanad's hurdling form reads well, whilst Hurlingham and Penang Cinta are generally consistent but neither looks bombproof. The front-running Maslak would be a danger if given a soft lead, and along with Bramlea and Kings Troop (trainer saddled second in this race last year) he looks the most interesting of the remainder.
