        Verdict

        In a very open finale Dream Tonic is taken to beat Golden Fury and Del Mar Sunset. Mick Channon's colt has hit a rich vein of form landing three races in a row. The latest success came at Ayr when just getting up to beat Burnley Al. The manor of that gutsy victory suggests this slight step up in trip should suit and he will take all the beating. Golden Fury has won off a three pound higher mark and he didn't do too badly in a slightly better race than this last time. He would prefer a bit more cut in the ground but should still be involved in the finish. Del Mar Sunset also comes here in good heart following victories at Haydock and Brighton and another bold showing can be expected under Kerrin McEvoy. The best of the remainder could be the improving Malahem, but Dream Tonic will be a tough nut to crack and gets our vote.

        Malahem (IRE) Evensfav (9-0) In touch, led 2f out, clear 1f out, comfortably, won at Haydock 1m mdn stk (5) gf in Aug beating Jack The Giant (9-0) by 2 1/2l, 8 ran.
