In depth

Verdict

Packing Hero is taken to get the better of Emily and Sweet Jain who are put forward as the main dangers. The selection was a good second behind Grazeon Gold Blend at Pontefract last time out over 5f. This lightly-raced colt will be suited by the step-up to 6f and with minimal improvement he should take plenty of beating. Emily rates the main danger and this likeable filly made a pleasing racecourse debut at Yarmouth when only finding the odds-on favourite Laith too good. That was over the minimum trip and this extra furlong should play to her strengths so it would be no surprise to see her go well. Sweet Jain gave the impression at Yarmouth last time that the drop to 6f did not suit her so it seems a little odd that she is tried over this trip again today. She has shown a fair level of form but looks to be better over further. It will be a surprise if the other two runners here are capable of getting competitive and for the winner we will stick with Packing Hero.
