    Verdict

Abseil ended a nine-year barren spell for favourites when landing this last year. He's not won since but did go close at York on his return to action. God Willing is hard to win with and found one too good again in Lacan at Chelmsford last time. The latter should go well again though Sound Advice and Zugzwang have failed to cope with a rise in the weights for their earlier wins and the latter has been raised a further 6lb for finishing second at Newmarket. Paul Hanagan partners Imshivalla, who arrives out of form, while stablemate Obsidian is upped in class. GRATZIE was progressive last year, winning four times including twice over track and trip. There should be more to come from her this year and she gets the nod with a recent outing at Thirsk under her belt.
