TIGER WEBB is narrowly preferred to Time To Work. Henry Cecil's colt lost out by a narrow margin at Lingfield on debut to a well-touted newcomer (with a Royal Lodge entry) but the pair were in turn two lengths clear of the third. His experience of running down a hill there should stand him in good stead for this unique test. Time To Work is another son of Hurricane Run and this colt has already been to the track, resulting in a well-held second to Suzy Wong. Whilst the form doesn't leap off the page it was an improved effort from his debut at Sandown and he looks a player today. Pigeon Hollow is exposed and this doesn't appear to be his track (didn't handle it too well when second in July and was very poor last time here) whilst improvement can be expected from both Hurricane Spear and Cuban Piece. Coachlight is likely to need further, so a bigger threat may be El Maachi whose Thirsk form looks solid.
