Verdict

Young apprentice Robbie Downey has been making a name for himself in recent weeks and takes over the reins on board FLEET CAPTAIN, who had been running well on Turf before being caught close home by the in-form Doc Holliday last week - compensation should be forthcoming here. Chillie Billie is still a maiden after 25 career starts but looked as though that elusive victory was around the corner when a good third three weeks ago. Tetard has shown enough ability in maidens to suggest she can get competitive on her handicap debut and she holds Mr Bounty on latest running.
