Verdict

This looks one for the Tony Carroll/Joseph O'Brien partnership via SHALAMBAR. Already a winner of nine races, he gained a comfortable victory over this trip at Kempton a month ago and a 5lb rise shouldn't prevent a follow-up. Minot Street's good run came to an end last week and the assessor looks to have got to the bottom of him but Sharjah can go well again despite a big weight as the longer trip can play to his strengths. That's Ours gained a surprise victory here last week but it was no fluke as he battled on strongly while Cottesloe is gradually dropping to a winnable mark and Luke Dempsey's claim is a bonus.
