Verdict

ROSE ANGEL just held on in a driving finish to gain her first success over the track and trip earlier in the month then followed up by coming with a late run to catch Have A Nice Day. She just gets the vote in what looks a very tight handicap. Victor's Beach was conceding 10lb to Doc Holliday when beaten around three lengths here then ran on strongly when a close third to Hes Our Music, who runs in the previous race. Doc Holliday has since followed up but has shot up the weights as a consequence. Robbie Downey has ridden him to those victories and was also on board the selection for her two successes. Miller Beach was just behind Cheers Buddy here on Friday, when Reckless Lad disappointed, but is held on earlier running.
