In depth

Verdict

ATTICUS FINCH didn't quite last home over a mile here early this month and then stayed on strongly over 6f a week later. This 7f should prove ideal and he can gain his first success. Roman General ran in two strong Leopardstown maidens before starting favourite here in September. He couldn't go the early pace that day but stayed on well and may be better suited by a mile. Asteroid Belt ran reasonably well over the C&D last month but may do better in handicaps so Tigresa may prove more of a threat as she ran well for a long way over 1m1f at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago.
