Verdict

None of these arrive in top form and the market may prove a good guide. Hazel Blue is the only course and distance winner having scored here in July but her two subsequent runs haven't shown any progress. St James Gate has only had four runs, the last three in sprints, yet finds himself at the head of the weights while Tsar Paul is another who has been racing over shorter. Busalla has never won here though has dropped to a lowly mark and should be kept on the right side but Athassel is still a maiden after 15 starts as is WAR ROOM. The latter showed better form when not far behind Waterloo Sunrise here a fortnight ago and is taken to come out on top in a moderate contest.
