Verdict

South South West has run twice here and won the latter of them, though he may just need this as he hasn't been out since June. Santo Prince, who won at Brighton for Michael Bell, has his first start on the Flat for Gordon Elliott and Joseph O'Brien is an intriguing booking. Atlas Peak won twice here last spring but has become inconsistent and Cristy's Call looks to have more of a chance having been caught on the line by Tetard two weeks ago. VIM hasn't had much racing for his age and, though still a maiden, looks good enough for this after being caught in the shadows of the post by Habesh over a slightly longer trip last time.
